Every company should move away from using Excel sheets as databases for managing infrastructure and switch to a structured system as the foundation for operational workflows.

The goal is to have a single repository that contains all the infrastructure data, including:

  • VLANs, IP networks, IP addresses, VRFs (IPAM)
  • Sites, physical and virtual devices
  • Rack configuration and cabling
